Get Involved with JEPF
Five ways to help. They suit different people. Pick the one that matches what you actually have: money, time, a business, or a free Saturday.
Give
Give once, or monthly so we can plan a whole school year around it.
Give Time
Mentor a young person. Teach. Work a festival. Lend us a professional skill.
Bring a Business
Sponsor us, or get listed in the supporter directory and stay visible all year.
Donate
The simplest route. Give once, or set up a recurring donation so the foundation can plan around it. You can also ask us to earmark a gift for a specific campaign, such as the leadership training center, or tie it to an event.
JEPF is a registered 501(c)(3), so donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Volunteer
Educators, mentors, professionals, students, alumni, and community members all have somewhere useful to be here. The work ranges from mentoring a young person to carrying tables at a festival, and both are genuinely needed.

Administrative and organizational support.
Community outreach in Hyattsville, Prince George's County, and the wider DC area.
Professional skills: design, accounting, legal, logistics, technology.
Sponsor as a Business or Corporation
Businesses support JEPF through event sponsorship, program sponsorship, community partnership, and the supporter directory. Sponsorship gives a company visible community involvement, and it gives the foundation something grant cycles rarely do: money it can plan around.
Join the Supporter Business Directory
The JEPF business directory is a supporter directory. Businesses apply, we review them, and approved businesses get a listing that identifies them publicly as JEPF supporters. Support a nonprofit mission and increase your business's online visibility at the same time.
Come to an Event
JEPF has been running family events in the Washington metropolitan area for more than fifteen years. The JEPF Food & Wine Festival is the flagship. Buying a ticket is a real contribution, not a social alternative to one.
