How JEPF Business Sponsorship Works, Step by Step

How JEPF Business Sponsorship Works, Step by Step

No mystery to this, so here is the whole thing.

You apply through the form. It takes a couple of minutes and it is free. Applying commits you to nothing and we ask for no payment details at this stage.

We review it. This is the part that matters, and it is why the directory is worth being in. We are checking that you are a real, legitimate business. A directory that lists whoever pays tells a customer nothing, which makes it worthless to the businesses in it.

If approved, you get a private payment link. The cost is a one-time setup fee plus a recurring annual fee to keep the listing live, both handled through Stripe. The current amounts are on the sponsorship page.

Once the first payment clears, your listing goes live. You appear in the public directory, searchable by category and city, with your own page carrying your services, service area and contact details, plus structured data that search engines can read, and a link to your site.

If you are not approved, you are not charged and we will tell you why.

On renewals: if an annual payment fails after Stripe's retries, or you cancel, the listing comes down from the public directory until it is reactivated. It is not deleted.

What the listing is not is an endorsement. It says you support this foundation. It does not say we vouch for your work.

Where the money goes: books and school supplies, scholarships, mentoring and leadership development for at-risk young people, and the permanent leadership training center we are raising funds to build in Jamaica. Our officers take no salary. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
